Alison L. Blythe

Alison has a wide range of administrative experience with both UK and American companies and taught music for 6 years at Hollygirt School, Nottingham and for 10 years at Ratcliffe College, Leicestershire. Alison is the founder and director of Students International.


Julie Chatkiewicz

Julie has worked in education for 27 years, specialising in History which she teaches to A-level students. Julie is also a boarding inspector for ISI.


Dr John Cook

Former Headmaster of Christ College Brecon and of Epsom College

John began his teaching career as senior Science master at Haileybury, following on to become headmaster of two boarding schools; Christ College Brecon and Epsom College. John now works as an Educational Consultant.


Duncan Hume

Director, White House Guardianship Ltd, Bournemouth

Educated at Taunton School and Nelson College, New Zealand, Duncan, with his wife Jane, established White House Group in 1992, having previously worked for a major distribution company, and as a UK manager for a Scandinavian youth travel group. Three of his five children are now directors of the family firm.


Adam Lubbock

Adam has been involved with boarding for 10 years at Woodbridge School and combined this with his teaching role as Head of Boys PE and Games. Adam has taken a keen interest in guardianship and is looking forward to being involved as a trustee.

Anne-Marie Slack

Sherborne has played a significant role in Anne-Marie's life as she has worked there since 1983, firstly as a Modern languages Teacher and House Tutor at Sherborne Girls’ school, and then from 1999 as Director of Short Courses and Registrar at the International College, Sherborne and also Deputy Safeguarding officer. Educated in France and in England Anne-Marie has first-hand experience of two very different educational systems, and gained qualifications from both countries.


Elodie Vallantine

Elodie has over 15 years’ experience in both state and independent education.  She has first-hand experience of two very different educational systems, having gained qualifications in France and in the UK. Elodie is passionate about education, having been a Chair of Governors in a primary school for 4 years as well as an examiner, a moderator and a teacher trainer for various examination boards since 2003. 


Allan Walker

Richard H. Youdale

Richard spent the majority of his career in education, teaching Classics and Russian. During his final post, as Head of the King's School Ely, Richard founded Alpha Plus Guardian Services with his wife Jane.
