Any school applying for AEGIS School Membership must complete an application form and will be expected to meet the following membership criteria:
1. Adhere to the AEGIS Code of Practice.
2. Undertake to follow the Guidelines for Schools.
3. Pay an annual subscription due on 1st September - the amount to be agreed at the AGM.
4. Play an active part in AEGIS events and allow staff to take up office on the Advisory Committee if elected.
Note: School membership of AEGIS does not cover any guardianship arrangements made by the school. There is an accreditation process for school guardianship services.
Guardianship Organisations
A. Accredited Guardianship Organisations are eligible for membership of AEGIS. (The Accreditation Criteria and application forms for an accreditation inspection may be obtained from the Secretary.)
1. Pay an annual subscription due on 1st September - the amount to be agreed at the AGM.
2. Play an active part in AEGIS events and take up office on the Advisory Committee if elected.
B. Guardianship Organisations applying for the Applicant List must complete an application form and will be expected to meet the following criteria:
1. Adhere to the AEGIS Code of Practice.
2. Pay an administration charge plus deposit towards the inspection - the amount to be agreed at the AGM
